File size limits and large uploads
Web uploads are limited to 100 MB per file. Larger files are handled by the desktop app.
Web interface
The web interface is designed for quick uploads, and each file is limited to 100 MB. If you try a larger file you will see a “File too large” message and can continue in the desktop app.
Desktop app
The desktop app splits files into small chunks and uploads them in parallel. If the connection drops, the upload resumes from the last confirmed chunk. Plus and Team plans have no per-file limit; on Free the limit is 5 GB per file.
Slow or failing uploads
Very large uploads may pause automatically during maintenance or when your network changes. The app retries in the background and you do not need to restart anything. If an upload keeps failing, check the Status page.
